Welcome Friends to read a story of Rocker B Ranch and how it came about in 1950. Rancher Farmer, William Ruehle (Bill) also known as the"Free Way Cowboy" or "Cow Catcher".
Roping cattle for a living was a daily way of life for this cowboy. The Los Angeles times has over eight hundred pictures of Bill he is truly a unforgotten cowboy. Catching tousands of wild horses accross the country, back in those days he was a brilliant minded man who other men highly respected. In 1963 he had his first child Rob and his daughter Lori, two years later. Side kicks they both became ridding in that 1965 Chevy pick up truck pulling a livestock trailer was a way of life for us kids. We rode horse before we could walk. The story's we can tell of our lifes growing up in a old adobe ranch home in Beaumont California when we moved here in the 1970's . Dad farmed barley and wheat and raised cattle. Dad raised us right my brother Rob is a wonderful Pastor & Carpenter. I am a Cowgirl all the way, lived my life in Rodeo and now a CNA & HHA very rewording life. Rocher B Ranch is now in Cherry Valley but much smaller & the best horses in the country. I Thank the good Lord every day for the greatest Dad one could ever ask for. God willing he will be with us and give us more wisdom the next few years.
